This in-person workshop provides an opportunity for individual instructors or instructional teams to focus on the enhancement of a new or existing assessment in their course(s) with an emphasis on accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Through peer feedback and guided work time informed by facilitated sessions on topics such as digital accessibility and UDL in assessment, this workshop helps instructors implement meaningful and barrier-free assessments that support diverse ways of learning. Instructors should come prepared with a new or existing assessment to enhance over the course of the workshop.

PLEASE NOTE: You must attend all in-person synchronous sessions in full to complete this course but please contact Devon Mordell (mordelld@mcmaster.ca) to inquire about hybrid options.
