Lightening the load – it’s one of the key recommendations coming out of the Fall Experience Survey and the work of the Virtual Learning Task Force. One of the ways you, as an instructor, can lighten your own workload is to leverage the work of others in your course content. Use of openly licensed – or open educational resources (OER) has gained considerable momentum during the COVID-19 pandemic, as they are easily accessible and adaptable to your course. Join us for this drop-in session to learn how to find and ethically use OER in your course. We’ll spend time reviewing the basics of use, the major repositories and top tips and strategies – leaving plenty of time to discuss your specific course needs.
