New to McMaster, new to online teaching, or just overwhelmed and not sure how to get started? With the shift to online learning, you’re likely hearing lots of new terms – asynchronous, synchronous, LMS, Zoom, MacVideo, Avenue, Camtasia, Teams, etc. If you’re feeling confused about the learning technology landscape, drop by to learn more. We’ll also look at “Top Tips” for easy entry into online course design, and provide you with the tools to work out what an online week/unit of your course could look like to show how starting small can help build a bigger impact. Everyone welcome – particularly those who will be teaching online for the first time this Winter 2021 term.
This session was originally scheduled for Nov 16th and has been rescheduled for November 30th.
- Facilitator: Joanne Kehoe, McMaster University – MacPherson Institute
- Platform: Zoom (details provided upon registration)
