The Paul R. MacPherson Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Excellence in Teaching (MI) is excited to be hosting a Fall 2025 MI Sessional and Part-Time Faculty Orientation to Teaching and Learning on Wednesday, September 10th, from 1:00-3:00 PM (EST). The orientation is a live, two-hour online event designed for new sessional and part-time faculty members at McMaster, though it is open to anyone interested in teaching at the University.
In attending the event, you will learn about:
- McMaster’s teaching and learning culture (including relevant policies and procedures);
- Course design considerations;
- Effective teaching practices; and
- MacPherson Institute supports, services, and resources that could help you enhance your teaching.
