A new Course Outline tool, called “Simple Syllabus,” has been chosen to better support a streamlined and simplified Course Outline creation and archiving process across all Faculties. The portal will be available to all undergraduate instructors starting winter 2023, and instructors will be expected to use the tool in the following academic year.
This series of workshops will cover the technical aspect of the Course Outline Portal.
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Navigate and utilize the system to integrate their content
- Implement changes in a ‘Simple Syllabus’ course template
- Create and publish outlines with their department guidelines in mind
