The AI Instructor Panel Series brings together educators to offer critical commentary on the potential impacts of generative AI on different aspects of teaching and learning. In a special collaboration between the MacPherson Institute and the Student Success Centre, this upcoming panel will feature three faculty members and one PhD candidate writing advisor sharing valuable insights and experiences on the theme of generative AI and writing pedagogies. Moderated by Ben Lee Taylor, Academic Skills Program Coordinator (Writing Support) with the Student Success Centre and former MacPherson Institute Postdoctoral Fellow, the discussion will explore how generative AI is changing the way students write and presenting opportunities to rethink the way we support students at every stage of the writing process.
