The default arrangement of Avenue’s course shell prioritizes functionality over usability – but poor usability can introduce unnecessary frustrations for your students and act as a barrier to their learning experience. Luckily, there are numerous ways you can make your course shell easier to navigate and use for both you and your students. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn and apply techniques to improve the usability of your Avenue course.
- Facilitators: Devon Mordell, Educational Developer, MacPherson Institute
- Platform: Zoom (details provided upon registration)
- Audience: McMaster Teaching and Learning Community
- Requirements: Participants should have a sandbox course in Avenue to Learn to practice techniques from the workshop (please request at least 2-3 business days in advance of the workshop via Avenue support).
