The Teaching and Learning Certificates of Completion Program is open to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Students and fellows may earn one, or both, of the following certificates of completion throughout their studies:
Teaching and Learning Foundations Certificate of Completion
(1) EDUCATN 600: Essential Skills in Teaching and Learning (I) [No prerequisites]
January 7 – April 7 (no class February 18),

(2) EDUCATN 650: Peer-Evaluated Teaching Experience [No prerequisites]
January 10, 15, 17, & 22, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily
Teaching and Learning Scholar Certificate of Completion
The two Teaching and Learning Foundations Certificate of Completion courses (i.e., EDUCATN 600 and EDUCATN 650), PLUS…
(1) EDUCATN 700: Essential Skills in Teaching and Learning (II) [Prerequisite: EDUCATN 600]

(3) EDUCATN 760: Self-Directed Study [Prerequisites: EDUCATN 600 & EDUCATN 650]

All courses take place in the MacPherson Institute Classroom (L508/L509 Mills Library).
Graduate students register for the courses in Mosaic, postdoctoral fellows by emailing Jennifer Faubert and requesting that their name be added to a class list. Registration is first come, first served. There are no waitlists.
