Call for Chapter Reviewers: 50th Anniversary Anthology

Are you interested in getting involved in the McMaster community? Are you looking for a way to leave your mark on a lasting project, explore your interest in learning, teaching, editing, or the publication process, or gain peer reviewing experience to note on your CV?
We are seeking the help of students, staff, and faculty from the McMaster community to take part in the peer reviewing of “Reflections on Teaching and Learning at McMaster: 50 Years of Stories,” an anthology commemorating the history of teaching and learning at McMaster and the MacPherson Institute‘s 50th anniversary in 2022.
Peer reviewers will read 1-2 chapters (most 1000-4000 words, some a bit longer) and offer anonymized constructive feedback to authors to support meaningfully interdisciplinary exchange. Most of the reviewing will occur between November 1-December 6, 2021, with some additional opportunities in December/January.
Chapter themes include:
- Valuing teaching excellence at McMaster
- Equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching and learning
- Educator and curriculum development
- Program and pedagogical innovation
- Community-engaged, co-op, experiential, and extracurricular learning
- Teaching and learning with technology
All are welcome to participate. Reviewer guidelines, some optional training resources, and a contact person for any additional support/questions will be provided.
Please indicate your interest by November 1st through completion of this brief form. Thank you for your support!
